From 1997 to 1999, Gilles was employed at Swiss Bank Corporation/UBS in London, to help develop their credit derivatives franchise, covering primarily banks. Prior to that, Gilles was a credit analyst at Banque Paribas in Toronto from 1995 to 1997, covering several industries including banks. He left Goldman Sachs in the spring of 2011 to develop Chorus Capital.
Gilles holds an engineering degree from Ecole des Mines de Paris with a Major in Project Management and Product Development.
Principal, Chief Investment Officer
Kaiko has over 22 years of financial markets experience, having worked in London, New York and Hong Kong, in a variety of areas including institutional equity sales (East Asia), structured finance origination, Credit Portfolio Management, Treasury and most recently Financial Institutions. He was one of the founding members of ABN AMRO’s Portfolio Management Group in 2001, and RBS’ Investment Bank (GBM) Treasury in 2008.
Kaiko holds a MBA from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi Pakistan.
Chief Risk Officer
From 2005 to 2008, Thomas was responsible for credit and alternative derivatives marketing to France, Switzerland, Belgium and Luxembourg at ABN Amro and was in particular involved in the structuring and marketing of ABN Amro’s program of securitisation of their corporate credit exposures and risk management of these. Previously, he worked in the Integrated Credit Trading department of Deutsche Bank from 2003 to 2005 and in the securitisation and CDO groups at Bear Stearns from 1997 to 2003.
Thomas holds an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Superieure de l’Aeronautique et de l’Espace in Toulouse (France).
Senior Portfolio Manager
He joined Chorus from Royal Bank of Scotland’s large corporate division where he was responsible for asset enablement, distribution and risk mitigation. Pre-merger, Neil was responsible at ABN Amro for executing junior and first loss-risk transfer transactions. Prior to that, Neil structured and executed cash and synthetic Collateralised Loan Obligations (CLO) for ABN Amro and Nomura and developed a portfolio optimisation application for regulatory capital CLOs. Neil was a senior member of the original CLO management team at Mizuho (acquired by 3i Debt Management). Neil began his career in credit risk operations, developing risk capture systems and data warehousing solutions.
Neil holds the Securities and Investment Institute Level 3 certificate in Investments (Securities & Financial Derivatives).
Portfolio Manager and Credit Analyst
Prior to joining LGIM, Giorgio worked at Lehman Brothers for one year as a credit strategist, where he generated bottom-up, sector-based trade ideas and strategies, and published research articles on global themes.
Giorgio holds a BSc in Economics from Bocconi University (Milan) and an MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics where he developed a pricing model for bank contingent capital instruments.
Enrico Longato, CFA
Part of a team ranked 4th in the 2012 Institutional Investor survey, Enrico was the lead analyst for Italian, Scandinavian and French banks and published a number of research notes on the sector. He also conducted analysis of the sector’s new regulatory framework (e.g. Basel III, CRD4, ICB). Prior to joining JP Morgan, Enrico was in Equity Research at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, developing valuation models and analysing individual banks (Italy and CEE), and then at Stamford Associates carrying out due diligence on equity portfolios.
Enrico holds a BSc in Economics from Bocconi University (Milan) and an MSc in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics.
Xiao (Alex) Ma, CFA
Prior to his MBA, Alex was an Investment Banking Associate for United Overseas Bank (UOB) in Singapore, one of the largest financial institutions in Southeast Asia, covering Southeast Asia and Greater China Debt Capital Markets origination and execution. At UOB, Alex worked on more than 25 transactions with a total deal size in excess of $20bn, including a $3.5bn syndicated loan for Sinopec and a $6bn M&A bridger for CNOOC’s acquisition of Nexen (FinanceAsia 2013 Deal of the Year). In 2012, Alex was a Summer Associate at Guoyuan Equity Investment, a Chinese Private Equity firm.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Science (Quantitative Finance) with First Class Honours and Bachelor of Business Administration from National University of Singapore.
Alex O’Gorman, CFA
Alex’s functions at BlueBay included asset pricing, establishing a new pricing desk in the US satellite office, and managing investment operations process improvements. Prior to joining BlueBay, Alex spent nearly 5 years at S&P Capital IQ as a valuations analyst. Alex covered global (ex-US) corporate and government bonds, and achieved CFA charter holder status during this time.
Alex holds a BSc (Hons) in Management Science from Loughborough University (UK), the Investment Management Certificate, and is a CFA charterholder
At ICG, Sundeep was a member of the Alternative Credit team, where he focused on the analysis of structured credit transactions including arbitrage Collateralised Loan Obligations and synthetic Collateralised Debt Obligations. He also worked towards developing credit valuation models and integrating IT infrastructure into the investment process.

Previously, Frédéric was a Co-Founder and Managing Director of The Fairsky Group, a Swiss and London-based group advising funds and investors regarding alternative strategies. Prior to that, he was Chief Financial Officer and Compliance Officer of ESO Capital Group, a European Private Debt investment manager. Previously, he worked for 8 years at CarVal Investors, as European Operations Manager and Investment Controller. He also served as Financial Controller at Lehman Brothers and he started his career as Audit Manager in the Financial Services Department of Ernst & Young.
Frédéric holds a Master’s in Business Management from EDHEC Business School and is a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA/CGMA).

Prior to Fortress, Caterina worked as an analyst at Cambridge Associates, recommending investment managers across traditional and alternative asset classes and looking after the portfolios of institutional clients including charities, sovereign wealth funds and family offices from the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
Caterina holds a BSc in International Relations and History from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
